4 Great introduction to the topic

This book was a wonderful intro into the world of maternal-infant sleep. It offers a rebuttal to "accepted wisdom" that is anything but accepted or wise. Anyone interested in caring for mothers and infants needs to understand the science behind it and its limitations and prejudices, and this book does an excellent job of laying that out. This book is not for experienced lactation providers however. If you are looking for a deeper scientific or academic dive into rem sleep cycles or a theoretical perspective, you will not find it here.
